The Wordsworths of Grasmere

Grasmere will ever be associated with the Wordsworth family. Their graves in the village churchyard are among the most visited spots in England. Three houses in the area, once lived in by the poet and his family, are now open to visitors – Dove Cottage, Rydal Mount and, most recently opened by the National Trust, Allan Bank. Further north in Cockermouth the Wordsworth House by the River Derwent is the birthplace of the famous sibling wordsmiths, William and Dorothy.

On this page we have a selection of items that will be truly valued as Wordsworth-related gifts.
